All murals are painted on either artist canvas or muslin which is much like canvas except it is lighter in weight. The canvases are well primed and then painted using high quality water based mural paints. It is sealed using a quality clear sealant that will protect it for many years to come. The reason for painting a mural on canvas is two fold. First, it allows the artist privacy needed in the creative process by painting the mural on canvas in studio. This also benefits the client as the artist will not be working in their home, eliminating the clutter of paint set up, scaffolding and the inconvenience to the customer. Secondly, since being painted on canvas and applied like wall paper, it allows the customer to remove the mural to a new location (in cases of a move or re-design).
